Unidad Educativa Colegio Javier from Guayaquil, Ecuador; learning about the benefits of the International Space Station

December 18, 2018

We had the opportunity to engage the students and they were really excited about the opportunity of doing their own experiments in space.  They built a model rocket so they can take seeds into space so they could experience the effects of micro gravity, high temperatures and radiation.  The school is being led by Father Fabrizio Alaña and the the STEM projects being led by Monica Mora and Xavier Carlier, the students have big dreams and they are looking to make a positive impact in Space as well on Earth.
